I’m Xavier Maximin, a Senior Software Engineer based in Lyon. I build software, improve existing systems and work directly with the people responsible for the product.
Before Android
My earlier career was largely Java/JEE and backend-oriented, which gives me strong JVM and server-side foundations.
I worked on enterprise web applications and backend systems using Java, JEE, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL and Oracle / PL-SQL. This is earlier-career experience, rather than a claim of continuous recent Spring work.
Across teams and stacks
Five years in London, field research in Kigali and international product teams have shaped how I work: understand the context, discuss trade-offs and deliver useful changes.
More recently, delivering Auchan Côte d’Ivoire with Rails and AI-assisted tooling extended that experience into a new stack.
